the japanese or indian players aren't going to be too happy.
but i'm going to love not having to chug through 5000 hp of an agra fort in colonial.

NEW MAP SETS


Competitive Maps: These maps should ensure the most fair and highly competitive play experience. This map set includes the following maps:

Random Land Maps: These maps do not feature water as any kind of significant play element, and should be ideal if you wish to avoid water fighting, or if you are playing on a low-end computer. This map set includes the following maps:

BALANCE CHANGES

General

* Crossbowman: Multiplier against Heavy Infantry changed to ×1.35 (up from ×1.25).

India

* Zamburak and Mansabdar Zamburak: Modifier against HeavyCavalry changed to ×3.5 and modifier against AbstractCoyoteMan changed to ×2.5.
* Urumi and Mansabdar Urumi: These units have been given the ×0.75 multiplier against Cavalry and CoyoteMan that is standard for Skirmisher-type units.
* Agra Fort wonder: Hitpoints reduced to 4000 (from 5000), range reduced to 24 (from 26), and line of sight reduced to 32 (from 34).
* Desert Terror card: Now adds only 0.5 bonus for Zamburaks against the Heavy Cavalry and Coyote Man unit classes.
* 9 Zamburaks card: Now ships only 8 Zamburaks.
* Agrarianism card: Now only grants a wood trickle of 1.00.
* Foreign Logging card: Now only grants a wood trickle of 2.00.

Japan

* Ashigaru Musketeer: Base ranged attack reduced to 24 (down from 26).
* Shogun Tokugawa: Aura bonus reduced to +15% hitpoints (down from +20%).
* Toshogu Shrine wonder: Now grants only a +75% bonus to Shrine gather rate (down from +133%). The Colonial Age Toshogu Shrine wonder now only yields 150 Export (down from 200).
* Golden Pavilion wonder: Now grants only a +10% bonus when set to increase the damage of ranged or hand units. The Paper Cartridge upgrade at the Golden Pavilion is now not available until the Industrial Age.
* Isolation Consulate Ally: Now grants only a +5% bonus to land unit attack.
* Bushido Principles Consulate upgrade: Now not available until the Fortress Age.
* Yumi Damage card: Bonus to Yumi Archer damage reduced to +15% (down from +20%).

after here comes a HEAP of bugs that they fixed.
but they're not as contraversial/important.

it really is an amazing patch. i really admire the fact that it's fan based.

What happens, is when you download it, in installs a "Patch Launcer" program. You open this, and can choose Fan Patch 1.0 and Ensemble Studios 1.01

E.G. I'm on ESO looking for a game on the normal Ensemble Studios patch. I don't see any games on it, and want to go on the FanPatch. I exit the game, and open up the Patch Launcer. I click on Fan Patch 1.0 and click Launch, and it opens up the game on the Fan Patch.

James, in some cases it fixes the CRC Mismatch, not all cases.
BUT it does correct alot of bugs.

i have every intention of downloading it.
but not now, just when it becomes more popular and i start to get crc mismatches

rite now downloading it will make it harder to get a game cuz no one has it and ull jus get crc mismatch.. especially since u dont got many available games cuz u dont got TWC

but u can jus choose not to use it and still have it downloaded lol

me and basset played yesterday....or two days ago, i forgots. but Nobody was joingin, we ere lucky to even get a game
