lol i think he won too cuase i rushed a japanese guy then he other brit player came with lbs and muskets while i was rushing so me, japan, and the other brit was weak leaving russia nad someone else.

I am a main 30-40 min treaty player for brits.
i prefer rushing with otto's and if you can get the landshneckt rush with germany good, it
is very good also.

in my 30-40 minute games i usually get to 99 villies and around 30 fishing ships around 18-20 minutes in.
i then let them gather and get a good resource supply up for a strong strand of muskets and grenadiers.
i am not keen on using cavalry because hussar are expensive and nothing special i find. I am also not keen on using culverin because i find that even against other cannons they get demolished when not upgraded and i hate having them slow down the army and the population space. after i finish walling i always delete a few villagers and ships to make space for my military population but i find issues with population. is there a better way to manage this. and my other question - is there another type of anti-artillery oter than cavalry or culverin. i usually just put my muskets into hand-to-hand attack mode. but this results in high casualties. Any better solutions

in treaty like 40 min u should ALWAYS hav at least 10 hussars in case he masses a bunch of cannon wit sum men then hav ur muskets take out any anti cav and since cannon hav no xtra attack gainst cav like gainst inf u should send ur cav in and no more cannon.... jus remember tht cannon r more expensive than cav and his eco will crash if u keep killin all his cannon

should i always upgrade my hussar fully to their imperial upgrade though if im going to only use around 50 of them.?

the first upgrade for veteran hussars i think it is... dont use the age 4 improv. if u aint gunna use em lol

Well to use them to their full potential you should upgrade them to imperial but if you are only going to use like 50 i recommend upgrading them to king's lifeguard or if you want to keep them at vet but then they would be very weak compared to imperial units.

by the way, dragoons suck as anti cav
they lose to equally upgraded hussars even. something which costs more that the thing it is countering and loses is no longer countering it.
