New civ

Hey guys. Now that track is over, i will be on more. So i want to start things were i left off. I was looking for a new civ since i've been with the british since day 1. I kinda know them in and out(maybe not as well as a top player, but well for a normal player) so i was looking for a new civ that was unique and fun to play. I like to have some options(which is why even though i love the ports i could never use them in a rated game). I ussally rush, but i dont mind booming at all. I can boom and rush so thats not a problem. The civ can be from any game(nilla,twc, or tad) and please tell me what civ you reccomend. Or maybe the british are what fits that and i should just find more strats with them. Please tell me what you think.

... have you ever tried treaty?

if so, i suggest germany, france, or russia.

if rush, i would go sioux, dutch, or germany.

Well if its something different you want and you have TWC expansion I suggest Iros. I liked them and no one plays them anymore so you get ppl who dont know or cant remember what they were like.

Russia and Dutch are fun to.

Dutch are fun, but if you really want to und, they are great in 3v3. The dutch can have a sick anti-cav/art force fairly quickly.

no.. u use brits so ur used to flexibility w/an advantage in ur eco

to help u.. use french or germans.... i did get on an iro kik once and i raped with them so they work too

If you want something new, do as Canadian.
I used to love Iro.

i luv tht their cav cost food and WOOD and their bows cost only food.. makes things so much easier..

now im gunna hav to use them again lol

Well I think any civ from TWC cuz ppl wouldnt expect you to use them. I havnt seen any1 in 4ever that has. Lots of the new players dont have a clue what there like. Its like a big surprise attack.

i hate playin aztec players... cuz they kno what their doin and i lose.. soiux r easy to beat.. cuz they all FF and u can rape them.. all cept oxy.. iro.. no one uses em.. not sure why.. too many newbs on aoe

Lol yea. Btw when i used the Sioux back in the day, i always rushed. I never really tried the sioux ff. Is it any good?

I would say if you could master Aztecs, youd b the Lone Aztec rapeing every game you walked into. Master them, you cant lose.

I was pretty good w/ the Tecs back in the day. I used to coyote rush with pumas, pretty dang deadly. And they can boom too, w/ the war pit and war priests

Lol well if empire total war doesnt work then aoe3 will be really my only computer game so i w=could put more time into mastering my civ.

btw... the sioux are very good heated, if you can get a monster eco going fast, they are hard to deal with.

lol.. cuz if they age at 2 mins like i do when i use em.. just age and get like 10 pikes/musks to protect ur vils.. then spam xbows or longbows or strelets to kill their rifle riders tht they r gunna hav from a card..

i 1v1 a soiux guy tht rushed the SEAR strat once.. i was dutch.. i raped him..

I remember hearing about sear but i forget what it is. And Oxy its ussally the guy who made the strat who make um th akronyms.

get to age 2 bout 2.30 then get axe riders as fast as possible.. if ur very good u can hav 10 axe riders raidin at bout 4 mins.. keep their barrax or stables from gettin up.. then send in more cav to raid the rest of their vils.. point is u kill their eco more than urs.. iv never done it correctly tho..

sounds risky... like it is only good for 1v1's... or against complete noobs.

probably why i have never seen someone use it in a 2v2 in pro games.

The S.E.A.R. strat worked well 2v2, with me being Russia.

yes it did.. u take out their early eco with raids and then they make pikes while russia spams strelets.. strelets>pikes

Yes muskets also can be a subsitute if you dont have light inf to kill pikes.

SEAR also includes getting Pistoleros..thoose guys are good when teamed with axe riders
